United States Environmental Protection Agency (EPA)
The Environmental Protection Agency’s mission is to protect human health and work towards a cleaner and healthier environment for the American people.  EPA is led by the Administrator who is appointed by the President of the United States.  EPA leads the nation’s environmental science, research, education and assessment efforts and is responsible for setting national standards for environmental initiatives.
