To build a collaborative network of content sources and content destinations to ensure that the residents of the Lehigh Valley community receive accurate and timely information during the event of man-made or natural emergencies.

The Lehigh Valley Emergency Web Network is a platform for broadcasting important public safety and emergency information in multiple languages to web sites other digital receivers.  Content can be centrally controlled at the source, eliminating confusing or incorrect information.  Emergency content feeds can be packaged by topic, geographic area, or agency. The general public can be informed pro-actively using the web rather than waiting for email, phone calls, or television coverage.

Benefits:  Before, during and after a disaster of national or local significance, accurate, timely communications is critical.  The Lehigh Valley Emergency Web Network provides a web-based emergency broadcast system that can deliver the right information at the right time and in multiple languages.
